1. Organization Units 

Organizational Units are functional or business units of an enterprise. The main use of an Organization unit is to track actual expenses or revenues incurred from the functional or business units. Profit centers and Cost centers are defined as Organization Units in VA System. 

1.1 Organization Units 

Organization Units window allows user to define cost centers or Profit Centers as Organization Units in Vienna Advantage system. 

To open the Organization Units window navigate to Menu>Company and Global Settings>Company Structure>Organization Units or search for Organization Units in search utility available in Menu itself. 

Click on the Organization Units option available in Menu. After clicking on that option, Organization Units window will open as shown in the below screen shot. 

In Organization Units window Tenant will be auto populated based on user role and access.  

Search Key will be auto generated or user can enter the Search Key manually. 

Enter the name of the Organization Units. Give any description in the Description box. 

User can make the organization unit name as Summary Level, by the selection of Summary Level checkbox (if require) 

Select Legal Entity Organization from the drop-down list. 

Select Cost Center or Profit Center checkbox. 

After defining the details click on the save icon, record will be saved in the system and will be available to select in the transactional windows. 

Go to the next Organization Units Info tab. 

1.2 Organization Units Info 

Organization Units Info tab is used to define the contact details of the organization unit. 

In Organization Units Info tab Tenant and Organization will be auto populated.  

Entered organization units name on header will be auto populate in the Organization Units field. 

User can mention the contact details of the organization by using the Phone, Fax, Address, Supervisor and Email Address fields. 

After defining the details, click on the save icon, a record will be saved in the system.  

Note: Created Organization Units name will be displayed on all transactional windows under the field named as ‘Trx Organization’(if dimension 'Trx Organization' is enabled on account schema element tab). It will only show organization unit which will come under selected organization (legal entity).
