Blanket Order Enhancement

Enhancement 1 

In this enhancement, Vienna introduces the Control Type on Blanket Order. 

Overview 

A Blanket Order  is a long-term Agreement between an Organization and a supplier to deliver goods or Services with a set price on a Recurring basis over a specified time period 

For example, if an organization determines that they purchasing a particular product or service from a specific vendor on regular intervals. To get the more competitive prices based on the large number quantities purchases during the previous period. The Business / Organization can opt for Blanket Purchase order where a more affordable price against certain number of quantities can be ordered from a vendor. And multiple orders can be released against this long-term contract i.e., Blanket Purchase Order. 

Previously system does not allows to update prices in Release Orders which is created for respective blanket Order and does not allow to add more quantity in Release Order from the Quantity estimation in Blanket Order. 

Enhancement 

To Achieve this, we have added Control Type on Blanket Order header as shown in below screenshot:

Control Type: Control Type is used to Control the Quantity and Price on the Release Order based on the Respective Blanket Order 

There are three types of Control Types: 

1. Price 

2. Quantity 

3. Price And Quantity 

Price: If user selects the Control Type as Price on the Blanket Order and complete the Blanket Order, when user creates the Release Order with respective Blanket Order, for that Release Order Line, user cannot increase or decrease the Price of the Line on Release Order but user can increase or decrease the Quantity (user can Increase quantity in Release Order more than the Blanket Order Released Quantity). 

Quantity: If user selects the Control Type as Quantity on Blanket Order and completed Blanket Order, when user creates a Release Order with Respective Blanket Order, for that Release Order, user cannot change the Quantity (user can add less than or equal to the Blanket Order Released Quantity ) But user can increase or decrease the Price. 

Price and Quantity: if user selects the Control Type as Price and Quantity on Blanket Order and complete Blanket Order, when user creates a Release Order with Respective Blanket Order, for that Release Order, user can change the Quantity less than or equal to the Blanket Order Released Quantity but cannot change Prices on Release Order.
