Enhancements

Overview

In this release, password for yellowfin is separated from login password for user in VA. Also two new processes are introduced to reset your BI password and reset user's yellowfin password.

User Window

To separate BI password from login password of framework, a new field is introduced in user window.

Field Name: BI Password

Field Name	Description
BI Password	This field is used to save user's BI Password. Similar to Password field, this field is also encrypted. This field will be enabled only when user mark BI User checkbox as checked. Framework will use this field to create user in BI, fetch report from BI. Any change in login password will not affect BI's password

Now with separation of password field for BI and framework, new processes are introduced to reset your BI password and user's BI password.

Process

Description

Reset Your BI Password

This process is used to reset login user's BI password. This process accepts two parameters.

User have to enter login password for authentication and enter new BI password. When user clicks ok, process will change the BI password.

Reset User's BI Password

This process is used to reset other user's BI password. This process accepts two parameters.

User have to enter name of user whose BI password is to be change, login user's password for authentication and enter new BI password. When user clicks ok, process will change the BI password.
