Overview

In this release, password for jasper is separated from login password for user in VA. Also two new processes are introduced to reset your jasper password and reset user's jasper password.

User Window

To separate jasper password from login password of framework, a new field is introduced in user window.

Field Name: Jasper Password

Field Name	Description
Jasper Password	This field is used to save user's Jasper Password, similar to Password field, this field is also encrypted. This field will be enabled only when user mark Jasper User checkbox as checked. Framework will use this field to create user in jasper, fetch report from jasper. Any change in login password will not affect jasper's password

Processes

Now with separation of password field for Jasper and framework, new processes are introduced to reset your jasper password and user's jasper password.

Process

Description

Reset Your Jasper Password

This process is used to reset login user's jasper password. This process accepts two parameters.

User have to enter login password for authentication and enter new jasper password. When user clicks ok, process will change the Jasper password.

Reset User's Jasper Password

This process is used to reset other user's jasper password. This process accepts two parameters.

User have to enter name of user whose jasper password is to be change, login user's password for authentication and enter new jasper password. When user clicks ok, process will change the Jasper password.
