Scheduler.

A Scheduler is used to automate some task periodically based on the frequency defined on the Schedule.

 

There are mainly two windows used to configure a Scheduler. 

  1. Schedule

  2. Job Auto Run Config (Scheduler).

 

1. Schedule:

Schedule is used to create occurrence of Scheduler in the system. That is based on frequency set by user, one schedule can be used with as many as Schedulers. 

 

To create a Scheduler, we need to enter it in ‘Schedule’ window. 

Open Schedule window after login under System Administrator from menu 

Here, Set Schedule Type from the dropdown as per the requirement. In the below example, it is set to Frequency.

 

2. Job Auto Run Config (Scheduler):

To create a Scheduler, we need to enter it in ‘Scheduler’ window. 

Open Scheduler window after login under System Administrator from menu. 

Here, Set the Process from the dropdown you want to automate with this Scheduler. In the below example, it is GetCurrencyConversionRate.

Set the Schedule to define the frequency of the Scheduler. In the below Example  

it is Currency Conversion Rate.
