New checkbox ‘Full Day’ introduced on ‘Advance Search’ form. This checkbox would be visible if ‘Column’ field is selected as ‘Updated ’ or ‘Created On’.
As these columns have reference column date-time, So it will search records in database with entered date and time. However sometime we need to search records for selected date irrespective of time. So if user will checked this Full Day checkbox to true then system will search the records from database without consider the entered time in the control and if user keeps this Full Day checkbox to false then system will search the records with entered date and time.
How to use Full Day Checkbox
Open any window; Example ‘Sales Order’.
Select ‘Advance Search’ or press ALT + A.
Select Created On/Updated under column field. As you select column Created On/Updated, ‘Full Day’ checkbox will be visible.
Set ‘Full Day’ checkbox to true.
Select date and time.
Click Ok
On click system will search the records from database according to entered date without considering time.
If ‘Full Day’ checkbox is true. System will show all records created for the selected day. It will not consider the time in this case. Only records Created/Updated on selected date will be searched.
If ‘Is Dynamic’ checkbox is set to true along with ‘Full Day’ checkbox then preference will be given to ‘Is Dynamic’ and ‘Full Day’ checkbox will become read-only.
Right now this only works with ‘Equal to (=)’ operator.
