 1   INTRODUCTION 

1.1     WHAT’S IN THIS MANUAL 

This Document intends to inform the Functional/developer about DMS Drive operating. It provides the information and features available in the DMS Drive.  

Please go thought the other DMS documents before using this feature. 

1.2     INTRODUCTION 

DMS Drive for clients. 

System user can now create links of folder and documents and share it to external users. Folder can have sub folders and files. User can select folder or file to make a secure link with required permission on it and share it with anyone. System will check and authenticate link at backend and will show its content to user as per link’s detail. 

System user can change link’s permission on a fly also can delete it if required. Further end user can preview and download the shared files. 

An easy to use, dedicated preview interface with various document related options will help user to check the document online.

  2      GENERATE-UPDATE-DELETE LINK 

 User can generate link of Folder and File from Document Management Form (DMS). To generate Folder link, select folder’s option then select share option. In share model user can generate link with choice of permission. 

To generate File link, select file’s option then select access option. In share model user can generate link with choice of permission. 

  

Now user can copy the generated link and share it as per required. 

To edit link, select option from permission dropdown on select it will automatically update the link. 

To delete link, simply click delete button next to generated link. 

2.1     SHARED LINK DATA 

Share link data can be seen into drive link window. There user can check generated links. User can also update them as per requirement.   

 

2.2     DMS DRIVE VIEW 

DMS drive is main landing page where user can see shared folders and documents. There are many options available for shared folders and documents These includes checking, downloading and printing documents.

DMS is fully compatible with mobile and all the functionality can be used in mobile as well. 

2.3     DOCUMENT VIEWER 

DMS has full compatible document previewer/viewer. User can use this document viewer to preview documents and download it for further use.

2.4     DOCUMENT TRACKING DATA 

At the backend system gives facility to track full document and page wise tracing which further can be used to analysis.

DMS drive link gives option to share document  

  • Authenticate and check links before sharing with another user. 

  • Remove link once purpose is done. 

  • Be sure to check document license is active. 

  • Don’t use links on public domains.
