User Manual – Mobile Calling

Overview 

This page help you to understand how to use VA Mobile app to do VoIP calls.  

Note: Please make sure communication module is installed on your ERP web server. Please follow below link to know more. 

Prerequisites:  

Communication System (Web View) Module version: 1.0.9.0  

VA Mobile app version: 1.3.2  

 

 

 

 

Permissions  

After logging into the app, on the dashboard it will ask you for the permissions.  

As you can see in the screenshot on left app is asking permission for audio recording .  

Click on 'While using the app'   

Button .  

  

Manage calls permission

Next permission is for managing the calls. Click allow for this .  

  

Calling Accounts  

Now app will ask for access to your phone accounts.  

When you will click ok it will redirect to settings screen of phone.  

  

Calling Account Screen  

In calling accounts screens you can see viennaadvantage as a calling account. Click on the checkbox on the right to enable it as shown in the screenshot.  

 

Known Issue:  

On Samsung Devices with android version 11 this checkbox is not enabled in one click. User needs to click multiple times to enable it.  

  

Dashboard  

On the dashboard you can see a green icon on bottom right of user image.  A dialer button is shown on the bottom right of screen which will display a dialer screen and call logs.

Icon Color : Description

  • Green : Ready  

  • Red : Not Ready For any call  

  • Grey : Feature not available on server

  

Dialer  

You can change the country code by clicking on it and selecting from alphabetically sorted list of countries.  

To use # long press + button  

To clear all long press back space button  

Click the call log button to view call history  

Click Call button to make the call   

Click cancel button to go back to the previous screen.  

  

Call Logs Screen  

Detailed view of all the calls related to current user.  

 

  

Contacts/Leads Screen  

In contact screen you can see two types of call button on contacts.   

Green call button is for App to App calls and is only enabled if the other user is having the same app installed.  

If the user is not having the VA App installed then you can see the orange button below his/her name which means the call will go to their GSM number.  

Along with orange button you can see the three dots by clicking on which you can see the list of alternate numbers added in user's account.  

  

Making Calls   

When you click on call button you will get screen like this and call will be connected.
