Bank Account and Bank Statement Form

This document helps the users to create bank account with account type as “Credit Card” and update the “Account Date” through the loaded transactions in the “Banking journal line” tab as same as statement date. 

1. Bank Account type as Credit Card

 To open Bank Screen navigate Menu > Financial management > Bank as in Fig.1

Click on the Bank option available in the menu. After clicking on that option, Bank screen open as shown in Fig.2

  • Click on the new record button.  

  • Selects the Organization, Name, and other mandatory fields and click on Save button. 

  • Then goes to the Bank Account tab as shown in Fig.3.

  • Click on the new record button. 

  • The Organization and Bank field automatically updates from header tab. 

  • Enters Account no., Name. 

  • Selects the “Credit card” from the Bank Account type drop down. 

  • Select the “Currency” from the currency field and click on the save button. 

1. “Statement date as Account date” checkbox functionality in load statement button on Bank Statement Form 

To open Bank Statement form navigate Menu > Financial management > Bank Statement form as in Fig.4

 Click on the Bank Statement Form option available on the menu. After clicking on that option, the Bank Statement form opens as shown in Fig.5.

  • Select the Bank and Bank Account (which is created with the Bank Account Type as “Credit Card”) from the dropdown list. 

  • Selects the Statement date. 

  • Then click on “Load Statement” button. Then button pop up screen open as shown in Fig. 6

  • Bank, Bank Account, Statement Date is auto populated by the system. 

  • Select the “Statement Class” from the dropdown which is bound on Statement class tab of Bank Screen. 

  • Enter the Statement Name. Select the file by clicking on the Browse button. 

  • “Statement date as Account date” checkbox display in Load statement when user select the Bank Account (which is created with the Bank Account Type as “Credit Card”) 

  • When selects the “Statement Date as Account Date” checkbox as true and loads the statement on the bank statement form, the "Account date" of loaded lines on the “Banking Journal Line” tab will be same as the “Statement date” of the “Banking Journal”.   

  •  When selects the “Statement Date as Account Date” checkbox as false and loads the statement on the bank statement form, the "Account date" of loaded lines on the “Banking Journal Line” tab will be same as the “Statement line date” of load statement.
