Scan App Access Feature

INTRODUCTION 

Scan app is integrated with DMS version 1.0.16.0. Now user can access Scan App Software from DMS form as well as from window's upload document feature. Below are some of settings, requirements and information related to this. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Module Requirements 

    • Latest framework Module 

    • Latest Document Management System Module (version 1.0.16.0) 

  • Installation Requirements 

    • Uninstall existing version and Install latest Scan App on system (Please contact to Vienna for latest scan app and document).  

USE AND SNAP SHOTS  

User can open Scan App from three places. 

  • DMS form top tool bar – user can open Scan App from top tool bar using Scan App Icon as shown below

  • DMS form folder's options – User can open Scan App from folder's option using Scan App icon given at the last. 

  • Windows, which has enabled upload document feature – User can open Scan App from any window having action enabled "Upload Document" feature, when user click on Upload Document then upload control will open from there user can choose scan app option.  

On pressing Via Scan App, system will open Scan Application show as below 

Now user can upload the document from Scan App and uploaded document will be attached to the selected record on window and will be saved in default linked folder (if any) otherwise whatever folder user chooses at the time of uploading document will be saved in that folder. 
 
Mark Folder as Default option :  If user choose folder and marks it default and uploads the document on pressing Ok button then system will link selected folder with current window and next time when user will again upload the document by default system will show default linked folder.
