Overview 

This form is used to count the quantity of product. It helps to create product cart through barcode scanner, import .txt file or .csv file. Form is used to insert multiple products simultaneously in line tab of particular window e.g. Inventory Move, Internal Use, MR, Others, Physical Inventory and Shipment windows. 

Inventory Count Form 

To open the Inventory Count Form, navigate to Menu>Materials Management>Inventory Count>Inventory Count Form or search for Inventory Count Form in search utility available in the menu itself. 

Form is used to create product cart with respect to windows. 

Click on the "Inventory Count Form" option available in the menu. After clicking on that option, Inventory Count Form will open as shown in the below screen shot. 

Below are the details of field shown in screenshot: 

'Transaction Type' is of six types, which help the user to create scan carts for respective windows. 

If user select any of the value from dropdown except 'Others' and create scan cart for the same then that cart will be used in the respective transaction windows. If user selects 'Others' and create cart for the same, then the respective scan cart will be used in all the transaction windows. 

'Reference No.' field is used to fill any number for the user reference. 

It is non-mandatory to fill for Inventory Move, Internal Use and Others and mandatory to fill reference number for MR, Physical Inventory and Shipment. 

  • For Inventory Move, Internal Use if reference number is given and same match with Requisition No, than only data will show in Scan Cart option of product info. 

  • If Scan Cart is created by using "Other" same will be shown on all transaction windows under Cart option of product info. 

  • When user select MR then reference number should be matched with Purchase Order number. 

  • If there is Physical Inventory in the selection then number should be matched with Locator number. 

  • If user selects Shipment then number should be same as Sales Order number. 

 If reference number/Purchase Order/Sales Order/Locator Code is not matched with Requisition No/Purchase Order No/Sales Order No/Search Key. Created "Scan Cart" will not show for selection in "Product Info" window.

 

'Scan Name' will show consolidated result of Transaction Type and Reference Number field values. User can change it accordingly. 

After filling all the three values, need to click on 'Next' button and system will show next screen as per below screen: 

  • 'Scan No.' Field is used to fill UPC number of product through virtual keyboard or physical keyboard. 

  • 'Import From File' is used for importing file from the system in  .txt file or .csv file format. Below are the format respectively. 

 

 

  • Grid line includes UPC number, Product Name, Attributes, UOM, Quantity and Action button. All the information will fetch from importing file.  

  • Delete button is used to delete the product record from the screen. 

  • 'Scanned Quantity' field is used to show total number of quantities. 

  • 'Back' button is used to delete all the inserted records and shift the user to previous screen. 

  • 'Reset' button is used to delete all the inserted records and keep user on same screen. 

  • 'Save' button is used to save the records  on Inventory count window. 

 

Inventory Count Window 

To open the Inventory Count window, navigate to Menu>Materials Management>Inventory Count>Inventory Count or search for Inventory Count in search utility available in the menu itself. 

Inventory Count window is used to store the data created from Inventory Count Form. User can edit the information from this window and used further in product info for respective transaction windows. 

 

  • 'Tenant' and 'Organization' will be auto populated based on user role and access and user can change the organization to create organization specific record. 

Use of Scan Cart 

These Inventory Count records can be further used in Product Info window as shown below: 

Need to click on this 'Scanner' button to see the Scan Carts and it will open next screen as shown below: 

  • System will further open Info Scan form and user can see Scan Cart in this screen. 

  • User needs to select this record and click 'Ok' button. 

  • In Info Scan, user can change Quantity and Attribute of the product. 

  • Delete button helps to delete the record from the table. 

  • '+' button is used to copy the record. 

 

System will further shows all the products of the Scan Cart. On press of OK record will be inserted on line.
