This is the first tab where user has to define window information. Fields information is described below.
Name: The Name indicates the name of the window. If you are creating this window for the Module then you need to create the Name with the particular module Prefix. Like MPC_SaleOrder, here MPC is Module Prefix Code
Display Name
Name to be displayed on window header.
Beta Functionality
If window is under testing then you can set this field as checked true. The menu linked with this window will not visible in the menu.
Window Type
The Window Type indicates the type of window being defined (Maintain, Transaction or Query). User has to select Maintain window type if creating a master window, Transaction Type for Transaction Window and Query Type for the window in which he can only view the data.
If window type is Maintain then by default system will show records according page size and order by created date (Means first created record show first).
If window type is Transaction then by default system will show records which are updated in last two days and according to page size (order by created descending means last created record first).
Entity Type
Keep this field as User maintained. But if you want that the record should not get affected from download of a module from Market then mark that record as Other Customization. If the Field Entity type of a record is set to Other Customization it will not be affected by the changes from market.
